These ceramic printed mugs were launched in November 2013 to support a £2M bid to the Townscape Heritage Initiative for the refurbishment of Bacup Town Centre, which was approved in January 2014. Celebrating the visual heritage of the town and designed to show how Bacup can cherish its ancient heritage whist embracing the future, they are full colour ceramic mugs with images ranging from eighteenth century buildings to state of the art sculptures. They are made locally by Anemoi Art using a high temperature kiln technique which bonds the image into the original glaze, resulting in a high gloss, dish washer safe product. Because the mugs are for the promotion of the town we are selling them at cost so that as many people as possible can afford them.
Camera Club members can buy them individually at £2.50 per mug. Members of the public may only buy them from the club as a set of six or more, again at £2.50, (see our Contacts page to make enquiries).
The mugs are also available to the public individually at £3.00 per mug from the following retailers:
Brain’s Discount House
14 Yorkshire Street
Bacup, OL13 9AE
Also available at £2.50, the ever popular ‘Every Which Way’ mug, but only from the club.
